Welcome to your discovery of Mongolia!
Upon your arrival at the airport or train station, your Discovery Mongolia team will welcome you and take you to your hotel centrally located in downtown Ulaanbaatar (UB).
Depending on your arrival time, we can explore the city and enjoy some walking around.
Meals are served accordingly. Stay overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, we will head to the south for Ikh Gazriin Chuluu Nature Reserve, where there is a lined rock formation in an area of about 600 sq. km, stretching 30 km in length and 15 km in width.
The scenery is remarkable with the special rocky formation and stargazing nights.

After our breakfast at the camp, we will head to White Stupa cliff (also known as Tsagaan Suvarga)
A gorgeous formation of natural beauty with wide-open panoramic views to all directions where you can enjoy a great evening.
This place is particular for taking great pictures and spending some chill-out time.

In the morning, we will continue our expedition further to the south. Our destination for today is Dalanzadgad and Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park.
The National Park is famous for the Voliin Am canyon or also known as the Valley of Bearded Vultures among travelers.

Shortly after our breakfast, we will start our hiking in the Yoliin Am and have a picnic lunch in nature.
Afterward, our journey will lead us to Khongor Sand dunes, an immense sand dunes to the west. It stretches up to 180km.
During our excursion, we can climb the sand dunes and observe the sunrise and sunset of the Mongolian gobi desert.
Apart from great views and scenery for photo shooting, we can enjoy Mongolian two-humped camel riding (Bactrian camels) over the dunes and spend some quality hours.

Today, our expedition will head further deep into the gobi desert of Mongolia to explore and settle in Khermen Tsav, an erosion formed 200 million years ago.
The length between the highest and lowest points makes 1000 meters and the canyon covers an area of almost 200 square kilometers.
This exotic scenery is one of the greatest locations in Mongolia, where we will discover the canyon for delightful photo shooting.
Meals (BLD) are served by our on-site cook and tent camping overnight.

Our photographic expedition is now approaching further to the west where we meet the majestic Altai mountains range. The first meeting point is Eej Khairkhan, an exotic and respected mountain among Mongolians.
We will enjoy the scenery of this single granite stone mountain from the flat land and our outdoor dining in the midst of the Gobi desert of Gobi Altai Province.
En route, we will stay in a traditional Mongolian ger overnight and in our tent camps for another night.

Sutai Mountain is located between Gobi Altai and Khovd Provinces in western Mongolia. The peak of the mountain is the highest of the Gobi-Altai Mountains with an elevation of 4,220 meters (13,845 ft).
It brings the most majestic look with its snowy peak even during hot summer time.

The western peaks of Mongolia are really starting to amaze you.
Munkh Khairkhan mountain, the second-highest mountain in Mongolia, is one of our must-visit destinations during these 2 days. The meaning in Mongolian is “Holy eternal mountain“ among Mongolians.
Munkh Khairkhan mountain is home to Snow Leopard, Ibex, and many other rare species of birds and animals. We are now 1,458 km from UB.

Today we will drive to the foothills of Tsambagarav Mountian stretches between the Bayan-Ulgii and Khovd provinces. With an elevation of 4,193 meters, the mountain and entire area are spectacular sightings and home to Snow leopards, Wild sheep, Ibex, and rare bird species.
We will set up our camping in the midst of the mountains and hills.

Discover Lake Khoton and Khurgan, two beautiful freshwater lakes in the Altai region.
Enjoy hiking around the lakes and visiting Kazakh families at their encampments. Learn their unique lifestyle and join an Eagle training and horse trekking.
The Kazakh lifestyle is unique in the Altai Mountains. We will also have a horse riding tour with Kazakh hunters for their hunting quest to the mountain ranges.

Our excursion towards Altai Tavan Bogd Peaks starts today. After 1-2 hours of driving, we will reach our viewing spot for the mighty peaks of the Altai mountains. After taking relaxation, we will continue our journey on horseback to observe the peak even closer.

Today, we will approach Ulgii town, the center of Bayan-Ulgii province, and prepare for our flight back to UB.

Today, we take a late afternoon flight to Ulaanbaatar. Today is for your leisure time in the city.
Dinner at a restaurant in UB and overnight at your hotel.

Today, we will visit Gandan Monastery which is the most respected spiritual center among Mongolians.
We also visit the Mongolian State Department store and Gobi fine cashmere as well as Chinggis Khaan Museum & Cultural Center.
In the evening, we will attend to Tumen Ekh Folklore Concert, famous for its wide variety of dance and singing performances.
Farewell dinner at one of Mongolia's prestigious restaurants.

Typically, initiate the booking process by submitting a pre-booking form. Upon receipt, we will promptly furnish you with all essential booking documents and subsequent steps.
A booking confirmation is secured upon a 50% deposit of the total tour cost. The outstanding balance is required to be settled 60 days prior to the tour commencement.
**Single Supplement Fee:** USD 150 (Please note that this fee might be subject to change, particularly if hotel room alterations are requested.)
