When you arrive at the airport or train station, the Discovery Mongolia team will warmly welcome you and take you to your well-placed hotel in downtown Ulaanbaatar (UB). Depending on your arrival time, there may be a chance to explore the city and take leisurely walks.

You'll also get to savor delicious meals and spend the night at the hotel.

Our captivating journey commences as we venture westward, arriving at the enchanting Khugnu Khan National Park. This pristine park offers a striking contrast to the rugged mountains, sprawling steppes, and sand dunes of central Mongolia, allowing you to bask in the serene natural beauty it has to offer.

One of the highlights of our adventure is the memorable camel ride across the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes. The breathtaking scenery, coupled with the gentle Mongolian Bactrian camels, creates an extraordinary experience as you glide gracefully over the rolling dunes.

To cap off your day of exploration, you'll have the opportunity to relish a welcome dinner at the camp, followed by an unforgettable overnight stay in a traditional Mongolian yurt.

Our expedition advances as we set forth to explore the captivating Erdene Zuu Monastery and the remnants of the Karakorum, a city that served as the capital of the 12th-century Mongol Empire, the most extensive empire in history, spanning vast territories.

Upon our arrival at the camp, you'll have the opportunity to soak in the breathtaking vistas and embark on a leisurely stroll alongside the picturesque Orkhon River.

Following a hearty breakfast, our journey continues northward to uncover the enchanting wonders of Lake Terkhi and the Khorgo Volcano. Here, you can choose to explore the terrain on foot with a refreshing hike or embrace the local way of life through a captivating horseback ride, immersing yourself in the pristine natural surroundings.

Embarking on our journey to the Khuvsgul province, we will traverse awe-inspiring natural landscapes and pause to relish a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery.

Upon reaching our cozy campsite by the lake, we'll unwind and savor the moments in tranquility.

Following a nourishing early breakfast, our adventure unfolds as we set our course for the captivating Lake Khuvsgul. Upon your arrival at the Ger camp, take a moment to unwind and immerse yourself in the natural splendor that surrounds this pristine lake.

Lake Khuvsgul, renowned for being a source of nearly 70% of Mongolia's freshwater and ranking as the second most voluminous freshwater lake in Asia, is a true natural marvel. Situated a mere 200 kilometers from its Russian counterpart, Lake Baikal, it offers an opportunity to revel in its unspoiled beauty. Here, you can partake in boating, indulge in invigorating hikes, and even meet with the indigenous reindeer herders living in the vicinity.

Savor a scrumptious array of meals throughout the day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) and experience the authentic charm of a traditional Mongolian ger/yurt during your overnight stay.

The Uran Togoo - Tulga Uul Natural Monument - is a national protected area in the Bulgan Province of Mongolia. It is located about 60 km directly west of Bulgan city around the extinct volcanoes Uran Togoo, Tulga, Togoo, and Jalavch Uul.

All four mountain names allude to their volcanic past with designations borrowed from around the fireplace. The Uran Togoo and Togoo mountains are named for their bowl shape, the Tulga mountain for its three mounds reminding of the traditional iron tripod kettle support. Jalavch is a term for a small pot. Upon arrival we will have short hiking in the freshness and spend the evening of relaxation at our camp.

Post-breakfast, we venture east to visit the Amarbayasgalant Monastery, also known as the 'Monastery of Tranquil Felicity.' It's one of Mongolia's three grand Buddhist monastic centers, nestled in the serene Iven Valley by the Selenge River.

Built between 1727 and 1736, it stands as a vital spiritual hub in the Mongolian steppe.

We'll enjoy meals and spend the night in the temple's awe-inspiring vicinity.

Today, we contunie our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. After checking in at our hotel, you'll have the freedom to enjoy your time at your own pace. You might opt to explore the city independently or join your Trip leader for an exploration of the city's charms.

Delight in a final round of meals throughout the day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) before spending the night in the comfort of your hotel.

Our day begins with a visit to the revered Gandan Monastery, a spiritual hub held in the highest esteem by Mongolians.

Following this, we explore some of Ulaanbaatar's vibrant offerings, including the Mongolian State Department store and Gobi Fine Cashmere. Additionally, we delve into the rich history and culture of Mongolia at the Chinggis Khaan Museum & Cultural Center.

As the evening approaches, we have the privilege of attending a Mongolian folklore Concert, renowned for its diverse array of captivating dance and singing performances.

To mark the conclusion of our journey, we gather for a memorable farewell dinner at one of Mongolia's distinguished restaurants.

Finally, we return to our hotel for a restful overnight stay, reflecting on the incredible experiences of our time in Mongolia.
